In line with this mission, we have recently developed a lead-free piezoelectric ceramic buzzer (piezoelectric buzzer / piezo element) that fully complies with the EU RoHS 2.0 Directive and REACH regulations, demonstrating our continuous investment in green manufacturing and innovative technologies.
Traditionally, piezoelectric buzzers rely on lead-based (Pb) ceramics to achieve their unique performance characteristics. Although EU regulations such as REACH and RoHS have historically granted exemptions for the use of lead in certain ceramic applications, the allowable lead content is strictly regulated. In response to the growing demand for greener technologies, we have made significant investments in R&D to reformulate the ceramic composition of our piezoelectric buzzers. The result is a brand-new series of lead-free piezoelectric buzzers, containing no lead or only trace amounts, fully compliant with RoHS 2.0 standards—while maintaining outstanding performance.
These lead-free buzzers deliver the same reliability, durability, and acoustic performance as their predecessors and are suitable for a wide range of applications, including consumer electronics, automotive systems, medical devices, and industrial equipment. By eliminating lead, we help our customers reduce the environmental impact of their products while ensuring compliance with global regulations.
