Product Change Notice
Product Change Notification Policy
All proposed temporary or permanent changes affecting product form or function status shall be submitted informed the end customers.
Hunston shall submit all PCNs a minimum of 90 days before implementation. While Hunston makes every effort to adhere to these requirements, unavoidable circumstances may result in shorter notification times.
Hunston thoroughly tests product changes before implementation. However, in situations where form, function, quality, or reliability are unaffected, Hunston does reserve the right to make the changes without notification.
Definition of Product Change
Important Changes
Any adjustments or modifications of an existing product affecting product functions are considered important changes.
The following changes will always be considered necessary:
- New Dimensions Modifications
- New Shape of the products
- New product specification (electrical characteristics)
- Removal Of an Existing Requirement
- New Component or Raw Material
- Nomenclature Changes (Change in Name of Product)
We will generate PCNs on Important Changes.
Non-Important Changes
Any adjustments or modifications of an existing product that are not affecting product functions are considered non-important changes.
The following changes will always be considered non-important:
- Cosmetic Changes
- Name Changes (Change in Name of Company)
- Packaging Changes
- Logistics Changes
- Change of Country of Origin
We will not generate PCNs on Non-Important Changes.
We reserve the right to change or modify any terms and conditions contained in the product change notification policy at our sole discretion without any notification.
